Folk Art Ram's Head Wall Display

$1,600.00 USD

This folk art carved and painted wooden ram's head is mounted on a shield-shaped plaque.  It measures 14 1/2" tall by 13 1/4" wide and projects from the wall 19".

The head is painted brown, red and black with an interesting herringbone pattern on the brow and snout.  He has glass eyes and real ram's horns.

The shield shaped plaque is painted green with a gold band around the perimeter.

The piece is attributed to Jim Graham, a folk artist from the Adirondacks working in the 1950's, 60's and 70's.  His work has been shown at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont and the Abbey Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum at Colonial Williamsburg.

An estimated $100 is included in the price to cover packing, shipping and insurance.
